Haircut service for the elderly (8 March 2008)

Volunteers provided haircut service for a total of 80 elderly residents of Care & Services (North Point) and H.K.S.K.H Tsz Wan Shan Day Care Centre for the Elderly.

A day of fun with the elderly (12 January 2008)

Volunteers of NWS Volunteer Alliance took part in the carnival organized by the Po Leung Kuk Kwun Tong District Elderly Community Centre on 12 January 2008. The carnival was held at Kwun Tong Recreation Ground, where NWS volunteers formed a cheer-leader team and entered various team competitions together with the elderly participants. Despite the scorching sun, our team became the overall champion of the event. Treated to a host of other wonderful performances, the volunteers enjoyed a most pleasant and memorable weekend with the elderly participants.
