Caring Action (18 December 2004)
NWS Volunteer Alliance supported the caring action organized by charity
foundations of two local newspapers. Volunteers helped distribute clothes and
food to about 200 elders, and played games with them in an elderly centre in
Tsz Wan Shan.

| Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration with the Elderly (25 September 2004)
For the third year in a row, members of NWS Volunteer Alliance participated in
the Mid-Autumn celebration party organized by YWCA Ming Yue Elderly Community
Centre for the elderly. More than 30 volunteers helped before, during and after
the event. What's more, they gave a singing performance and played a game with
the 200 elders, who had a wonderful evening enjoying the festival food and
various performances under the full moon.

| The Hong Kong Society For The Aged Charity Walk (5 September 2004)
More than 30 volunteers joined a charity walk to raise fund for The Hong Kong
Society For The Aged at Tai Po Waterfront Park, and enjoyed a sunny holiday
with the elderly.

| Hairstyling for the elderly (4 September 2004)
Following the volunteer hairstyling service provided in hospital and elderly
homes, our volunteers were invited by Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Tsz Wan Shan Day
Care Centre for the Elderly to do haircut for 20 members who reside in the
neighbouring district.

| Visiting solitary elderly (19 June 2004)
During an elderly visit co-organized by NWS Volunteer Alliance and Kwun Tong
Methodist Social Service Lam Tin Elderly Centre, more than 60 volunteers paid
visits to the solitary elderly at Ping Tin Estate in Lam Tin and presented them
with gift packs made up of provisions and Chinese soup ingredients donated by
True Success Hong Kong Limited.

| "Lucky Packs" to singleton elderly (February 2004)
Urban Group Community Team initiated a Lucky Packs Distribution Campaign to
distribute 1,500 "lucky packs" to the singleton elderly living in public
housing estates. The campaign was sponsored by Wai Hong Cleaning & Pest
Control Company Limited. Staff of Wai Hong and 100 volunteers of Urban Group's
Community Care Team distributed the lucky packs to the elderly and shared the
happy moment together.

| Po Leung Kuk Charity Sale (10-11 January 2004)
In the territory-wide charity sale organized by Po Leung Kuk to raise fund for
its elderly service, 25 volunteers of NWS Volunteer Alliance helped to sell
packages containing Chinese noodles and sauce at Ma On Shan Plaza before Lunar
New Year.
