Under guidance of the Hospital Authority, some volunteers took the Infection
Control Volunteer Training to get prepared for future psychiatric volunteer
services at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital.

Life Rejuvenation Scheme - Loving Bus Journey to Repulse Bay
(1 March 2003)
On a sunny Saturday afternoon, our volunteers and 15 psychiatric patients of
Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital rode on a double-decker of New World
First Bus Services Limited, heading for a pleasant journey to Repulse Bay:
visiting Tin Hau Temple, tasting pizzas, posing for photos, shopping at a
supermarket, and singing along the way!

| Life Rejuvenation Scheme - Preliminary Computer Class (15 February 2003)
With an aim to equip the psychiatric patients of PYNEH with basic computer
skills before they re-integrated into the society, NWS Holdings' IT Department
and Urban Parking Ltd donated them seven sets of computers and monitors in
total. Even more, our volunteers taught them how to draw beautiful pictures
with computer software.

| Life Rejuvenation Scheme - Regular Hair Styling Service (15 February 2003)
Since December 2002, three bus captains from New World First Bus Services
Limited have been regularly providing the psychiatric patients with hair
styling service. This day, over 20 female and male patients' hair were done.

| Life Rejuvenation Scheme - Birthday Party (25 January 2003)
Twelve volunteers of NWS Volunteer Alliance coorganized a birthday party with
qigl|, which has been serving the psychiatric patients of PYNEH for several
years. On the day of the event, we not only prepared delicious food for the
patients, but also arranged exciting games, filling the venue with joy and
laughter.

| Life Rejuvenation Scheme - New Year Party (4 January 2003)
Subsequent to the launching of the Life Rejuvenation Scheme, an arts &
crafts class and a New Year party were successfully held by NWS Volunteer
Alliance on 7 December 2002 and 4 January 2003 respectively. Having seen the
patients' happy faces, the participating volunteers realized that what they had
done meant so much to the patients.

| Official Launch of Life Rejuvenation Scheme (2 November 2002)
Life Rejuvenation Scheme, a one-year plan of volunteer services for the
psychiatric patients of Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital ("PYNEH"), was
officially launched on 2 November 2002. The kick-off ceremony was officiated by
Mr Tarcisius Law, Hong Kong East Hospital Cluster Service Coordinator (Media
& Community Relation), Dr Eva Dunn, Consultant, Psychiatry Department of
PYNEH and Mr Patrick Lam, Executive Director of NWS . Some 40 volunteers
accompanied the patients to tour the Golden Bauhinia Square on a double decker
of New World First Bus Services Limited. After that, they had barbeque lunch
together with collective games and prize presentation wrapping up the event.
